I cant understand why there remains any confusion about the origin if the Olmecs. Its pretty stinking obvious that their high leaders where predominently Southeast Asian. Look at this Figian face compared to the Olmec head. Mystery solved. No? (Of course I’m being flippant, but still what an amazing resemblance.)
