4000 Year Old Megalithic Irish Tomb

Today our ancient civilizations exploration takes us to Ireland. This summer my son and I took a hiking tour of the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland, where an astonishing amount of ancient megalithic structures remain on the landscape. To expand my experience and knowledge base of rock art and ritual symbolism in world cultures I found my way to several archaeological sites on the Dingle Peninsula and did my best to learn about them. I am sharing what I saw and learned with you in this series of Ancient Southwest “Ireland Edition”.
