GoPro Night Photo

I was messing around with my GoPro Hero 4 at night.  I took this night photo on “Auto” Night mode.

Then I changed it to leave the aperture open for 20 seconds and took the same picture.  This was the result.

I was astonished at the level of detail it picked up and the depth of field.  I can clearly see all the way down the canyon, including a few scattered rocks down the trail, range after range of mountains, and a very wide range of pretty accurate color.  Isn’t that incredible?
