Joshua Tree NP Insider Camping Tip

Joshua Tree National Park campgrounds are first come-first served and always full at the weekend. On the south side, just outside the oark is free “dry camping” in Chiriaco Summit. There are bathrooms at the gas station, a cafe, store, post office, giftshops, a museum… everything! And it all fits neatly into an area the size of a Walmart parking lot.
