Solstice Dagger Snake

A couple of years ago I chanced to see a sun dagger in this pictograph cave. I became obsessed with finding out if it animated on a major sun event (solstice/equinox). I’ve gone back every sun event for the past year and watched the sun in the cave. FINALLY, this June Solstice I was amazed and gratified to get exciting results. The cave is on an archaic travel route near the California/Mexico border. I find this region extremely fascinating because the cultures are extremely old and relatively close to the ocean, which means access to vast and exotic trade networks. That is not the topic of this video, but thought I would give you a little context about the area.
