Pueblo Telephone Booth

Pueblo era buildings were often placed within view of another pueblo that could be miles away. A string of pueblos like this would be part of an extensive communication system. Hundreds of villages could communicate within minutes through a signaling system. In this video a Zuni archaeologist explains how this works.
