The time machine of the desert is a rainstorm. I love to hike the desert in the rain and watch the clock rewind thousands of years, to a time when water flowed and pooled on the land bringing big game and abundant plant food for the people. Come with me on this past weekend’s adventure to the rainy Mojave.
