Today I fashioned a choker like Smoking Fox’s in the movie The Ridiculous 6. Instead of an arrowhead, mine features a Petosky Stone, a glacial era rock type made from fossilized coral, found only in northwestern Michigan. My husband bought the stone for me while we visited his parents in NW Mi. for Christmas. The necklace also has coyote teeth, stick pearls, Arizona turquoise and ancient
coral. The project started as a fashion quest, but has ended up being a totem to all the American regions I’ve called home.
